Bear's Food Shack

I love it here. People are giving bad reviews with not very fair reasons. No restaurants are perfect. The food is so good and the staff is so nice. Bear, the owner, came over to my table and had a conversation with me and mt dad. He was treating us as if we were family.

Nice small lunch spot with fresh Acai bowls and other healthy options. Not much seating but you can grab a small table outside. Very good option for a quick lunch. Service was very good so would go back. Not the greatest location to have a peaceful afternoon lunch but the food measures up.

Always drive past it and thought that's pretty cool all those bears. My daughter said they make really good shrimp tacos so we stopped in for a quick meal. It Was excellent the menu is extensive and very creative, the staff is friendly and attentive to first time customers. It's worth stopping and checking it out.

I like the idea of this place, a healthy surf-shack style eatery with a cool outdoor seating vibe. The food and smoothies are great and there’s tons of options to choose from. I ordered tacos and couldn’t believe how good they were. However, I’m really confused about the name “Bears” and the fascination with giant teddy bears planted everywhere. Not sure what that has to do with a tropical themed restaurant. This place could be great if they fixed a few things. Food took 20 minutes to come out as they were understaffed. The free water cups are a complete joke, they are the size of a 2oz bathroom mouth wash cup. I’m not sure if they were trying to shame customers into buying bottled water or they ran out of regular cups, but either way it comes off as stingy/cheap. Overall fantastic food and a very friendly staff in a cool beachy atmosphere.

My boyfriend had found me a healthy place to eat because I'm watching my figure and when I say he found the best place of all!!!!!! I had the Terri- Sun bowl and it was absolutely delicious, and I'm no fan of running eggs so I got it fried it would've been aesthetic looking, but I wanted to eat it the way I want. My boyfriend had the Kona Super Bowl he told me that he never tasted tomatoes sweet like those and he loved the fact that it tasted so fresh and that they even gave us a good portion amount of food that you have to at least save it for the next day and it will taste even better and fresher.
