El Camino

This is a fun place with good food and great music. They have a HUGE selection of tequila. Decent prices and lots of specials. I especially enjoy their midnight happy hour specials. Half price tequilas, $5 margaritas, $5 guacamole and $2 tacos. The margaritas and guacamole are delicious. Some late nights, the tacos tend to be salty, but for the most part they are consistent. Great place to hang out with friends. Service can be slow because they are packed, but most of the staff is super friendly and good at what they do.

#TacoTuesday at El Camino is simply the best! From the taste, colors, and presentation. All superb--I love going there. Be that as it may, I would like to give a quick shout out to their staffs Kayla and Tinisha (pardon if I misspelled your name). They have always been super helpful, accommodating, but more over welcoming.

So there you have it, awesome food, great people, and good location. I look forward to seeing you guys soon.

Wow. El Camino is a bustling bar & restaurant with a cool Southwestern decor and great energy just off Atlantic Ave. I emphasize "restaurant", because often busy bars neglect the food portion of their business. That is not the case here!
We visited just before Dorian, and the place was jumping. However, our primary server (Tiffany I believe) was pleasant, prompt, efficient, informative; and delightful overall. She was supported by the Manager and food runners, who orchestrated quick and pleasant service of food and cocktails. The food was excellent, and "Pura Vida" was an excellent choice among the 100's of Agave Spirits on the menu.
(-the only downside I can name is the limited restroom availability for a busy place)

7/23/2019Editing my review after a second visit revealed a sadly inconsistent experience. We came on a Sunday this time. I ordered the exact same thing because I was that pleased last time, and nothing came out the same. The guacamole was served with a third the portion as last time, the burrito was also smaller and not as perfectly made, and not nicely cut in half. It wasn’t put together well making it a bit disproportionate. The service was rushed and not friendly. I guess if i want to enjoy it again I’ll have to be sure to come at lunch on a slow day.

If you love tacos, this is your spot. A must stop for great food and atmosphere. Call for their happy hour specials and don’t forget $2 tacos on Tuesday. Fresh margaritas and amazing hot sauce made in house. My favorite, pork belly tacos. For app, get the brisket nachos. Get there early otherwise the place is jammed and waits can be long.
