By Florida standards, it's a great pizza. Probably one of the better pizzas in the area.
By NYC standards, it's ... OK. The crust was "fluffy", not enough sauce, and too much cheese in relation to the sauce. Slightly overcooked. The toppings are bit too extensive / chaotic. However, the pizza is still delicious, and that's what counts. If you're looking for a fast place to go for lunch on the way to the beach, this is a good choice. They have dessert pizza, which is fun.
Just realize that if you're a "snowbird" from New York City, my 4 star rating will probably translate to 3 stars if you compare it to pizza from home.
Their pizza is delicious and several varieties plus special requests are possible. They use quality ingredients and you can have squared or round (traditional) crust. Pleasant and courteous service. They have been honored with several community awards for quality. It is a small space physically with 6 , 4 seat tables so not much physical space for casual dining,
more of a "take out" atmosphere. Located near the beach with Ben and Jerry's for dessert next door and another delicious ice cream place next door on the side closet to the ocean. They also have salads to go with your pizza. A definite favorite. Enjoy.
These guys are incredible, working until 3 in the morning is no easy feat yet they do it seamlessly. Pizza is top quality, customer service to match. If you're hungry and in the area, treat yourself to a slice that you won't forget!
Pizza Rustica. Is a great spot right in downtown Delray. I've been coming here for years. Starting when I came down to visit my father. So I have some really good memories of being here. Now for the good stuff. The ????! The do a square shaped pizza with tons of toppings to choose from. They also have a great selection of beverages to wash everything down with. The place is not super big and has a handful of seats. And the staff is good and friendly. Stop in and get a great slice of pie.
The atmosphere was old fashioned (rustic) which was cool. Very friendly staff. My gluten free pizza was delicious. One of the best I've had. My friends' pizza looked just as good and very tempting. They all bragged about it.
