I cant rave enough about @ChrisTaverna Greek food. It's a local favorite as the food is authentic to the culture. My favorite is the meat platter with gyro meat, tender loin beef, and lamb chops. It's enough for 4 people for sure. All the food is just over the top. It's a must try for sure...

I enjoy this Greek restaurant quite a bit. The service and the food are consistently good and the prices are on par with most Greek restaurants. In my opinion it is among the best Greek joints in the tri-county area, giving even the ultra high-end restaurants a run for their money.

Some details about the food: The gyro meat is absolutely hands down the tastiest I've had, and the lamb chops (my personal metric for a Greek restaurant) are top-3 for the South Florida area. The typical Greek small dishes are well executed and you will not be disappointed.

The service is good, the staff is friendly and discreet. The atmosphere is mid-tier... It's not quite a fine dining experience but it's not just a tiny hole in the wall with checkered table cloths. Definitely good enough to take a date.

I definitely recommend Chris' Taverna for fans of superior Greek food, or even if you're looking to try it for the first time.

PROS -- the stuffed grape leaf appetizer which were fresh and delicious. The FREE pita bread and tzatziki sauce were delicious! The Greek French fries were a yummy spin on the traditional cheese fries. The baklava was huge and not overly sweet. CONS -- the lamb chops although cooked properly were too salty.

Five stars all the way! I love that this restaurant is in my neighborhood. Delicious food, great staff and they really have everything working like a well-oiled machine! All of their food is wonderful, but my usual fixes are grape leaves, lemon soup and lentil soup. All of their entree's are terrific.
