Ela Curry Kitchen

The food was enjoyable. We made a reservation for 6pm and got sat at the bar. The service was complete chaos, one server for the entire (packed) bar on a friday night. Location is in a plaza next to one of our favorite restaurants, Coolinary/Parched Pig, we walked by this restaurant the last time we were there and made plans to try it out since it is new in the area. A bit pricey but the butter chicken was incredible

So it's nice seeing something different in the area, a place that doesn't have the same boring food typically seen in Jup/PBG. The food is very flavorful. The service was slow waiting for a server.
My 1st gripe is that even though the food is flavorful it didn't have a nice spicy kick like traditional Indian food. Hence they have made it in a way that the average American can handle (not spicy).
My 2nd gripe is that they have multiple beer selections but only had 1 indian beer on the list.
My 3rd gripe is that any sauces you want to try you have to shell out $4 for each. These should be free like any other Indian restaurant.
And finally. Indian food is cheap. Chump change usually. This place is pricey. But it's understandable given the area and the clientele.
Besides these things it's still worth a visit and will definitely come again.

Host Sasha greeted us by name and seated us quickly. Our 2 servers Sam and assisted by Donald were awesome. The runners cleaned up and had our food out soon and hot. We enjoyed our evening. Shout out to the Manager she keeps everything running smooth. Food was delicious. It was a fun date night for my hubby and me.

Found Ela Curry Kitchen online, decided to try them for dinner- and were amazed at not only the quality of food, but also the service. This is easily one of, if not the best Indian meals I have ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment!

Outstanding food and service. From the moment you walk in you know you are in for something special. The food is fresh and authentic with a modern flair. Highly recommend.
