Spoto's Oyster Bar & Blue Point Lounge

About a month ago my boyfriend and I checked out Spoto's for a later dinner at the bar and some cocktails. I've been there plenty in years past, (but hadn't gone back in awhile) and I must say, I'm a big fan again. Their remodel, which I'm sure was done a bit ago, - is beautiful, and comfortable. Love the outdoor, covered bar counter and the newly brightened side bar/dinner area. The food was super tasty and the bartender service was excellent. Nice ambiance!

Excellent food and service. Our server was named Bill, and he was excellent, they offer lemons and a hot towel to wipe your hands before eating. The restaurant looks extremely nice and the food is fairly inexpensive considering the service and place your eating. The raw oysters were delicious, along with the grilled salmon. The grilled salmon comes with sauce on the side which was great. I look forward to eating here again.

I had the maine lobster, and my boyfriend had the shrimp gumbo, we also shared the raw oyster sampler. Everything was delicious! I had never eaten whole lobster before and Liza was kind enough to glove up and show me how to get all the meat out. She explained how meat from different pieces tastes and included her preferences with me as well as what other people do. The lobster was delicious and service excellent. We had Natalie and Liza paired to wait on us during our dining experience. Both were friendly, attentive, social and kind. If I wasn't from out of state I'd definitely come back.

I haven’t had service this good in a very long time! If you’re looking for great food and excellent service look no further! Ellen has her staff paying attention to every detail! Amazing experience! Goat cheese and spinach stuffed chicken for dinner.... BBQ bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer ...SUPERB!

Wonderful spot for lunch. Started with the bacon wrapped shrimp. Need I say more. Then had the Freshest and cleanest tasting oysters I've had in a while. Great clam chowder as well. How about finishing the meal with fresh squeezed lemon and hot towel before the homemade key lime pie. Excellent taste without too much tart. Matthew, our server, did a great job.
