McCray's Backyard Bar-B-Q and Seafood

The ribs were seasoned very well, however they were stone cold! As if they were in the fridge before they poured the sauce on therm. I had to wait and heat them once I got home.

Love the new location of Mccray's. It's very well renovated and clean. The workers are extremely friendly and helpful. They often come by as you're eating to check on patrons and thank them for coming. Now for the food:

The things this Pit Master can do with smoked meat is heavenly. I have eaten here several times over the past few years and I can say easily there is none like it that I have tried in South Florida. This food is special. I enjoy the ribs and chicken the most, but all of it is outstanding. The mac and cheese and rice and peas are very delicious too. It's uncanny their ability to put enough love and care into the sides where other places lack. I get a very creole vibe from the sides from the undertone of flavors. I would recommend Derek and his little slice of heaven to anyone and will hopefully be a very long time customer should I have the privilege!

Ribs just as good as always. Chicken was a little weak. Ordered a half chicken that barely warm and no white meat. It should be a breast and Wing a leg and a thigh but instead it was a two drumsticks and two thighs. It was overpriced all those chickens not bad to warm it up. Still love the ribs.
