Ford's Garage Wellington

About a 20 minute wait to be seated, no problem. It went fast. You hear "Ford's Garage" , you think cool cars and that kind of ambience. Nah, very minimal. Menu is very basic, about a dozen apps to choose from, all with fancy names but comes down to, nachos, wings, pretty standard fare. Then hamburgers made a bunch of different ways, but still a hamburger. Problem was, all the food was brought out with LONG waits. Unreasonable for the amount of people that were eating even though the place was full, took too long. 3 burgers ordered all medium rare. One came out medium, the other two were well done. The waiter was nice enough to suggest removing one, but as we already waited almost an hour we were hungry and ate half of the two burgers. We're fair people so we did not accept the offer. No dessert offered either. All well, maybe we'll try again another time before it turns into another restaurant.

Service: Exceptional service by the bar staff on the booths in their area. Joshua was friendly and pleasant without being overbearing. He was also very attentive to the table ensuring that no drinks went unfilled or plates stacking up.

Food: Food was great and time to table was also very reasonable.

Overall, exceptional experience at a unique restaurant with reasonable prices.

We have been wanting to try Fords Garage before it was opened. I chose Fords Garage for my birthday dinner. We had to wait 30 minutes and the food was fantastic. Worth the wait!! Our server, Carly was Amazing! Always had a smile and asked if we needed anything. And she got it right away. Definitely we will be back for sure. Yummy.????

I ordered the double stacker medium. It was cooked to a perfect medium. Hard to do with a burger. It came exactly as I ordered it. The waitress brought me a bottle of mayo, instead of having the kitchen do extra. I’d rather put it on myself, so I was happy with that. the service was slow at first. No one came to take my drink order, until a manager came by and asked me if anyone took it. He took my drink order himself. After that service was very fast. I got the chocolate peanut butter cake for dessert. The portion could be called a sliver, but the cake itself was delicious. I just recommend asking for a big slice. They are very allergy aware, so if you have food allergies, this is the place for you. The ambiance was second to none, especially if you like Fords, which I do. Sit outside at the pickup truck.
