Modern decor and a fantastic executive chef (James Strine). Menu is simple, straight forward, and concise. Which I liked. I had the fillet minion which was cooked to perfection (medium rare) with chimichuri sauce served on the side for my main course. I had the wedge salad as an appetizer which was very good and the pork empanadas which were amazing! The bartender was EXCELLENT! It’s hard to find one who can make a solid manhattan. Old fashion was on point as well. Whoever she is, I hope she stays, she’s excellent. The dessert was good. It’s hard to make good tasting gluten free item(s). My wife loved the rice crispy w/chocolate ice cream. I had the chocolate gnash w/salted pretzel, it was very satisfying as a finisher. Price is inline with what you’d expect for this level of fine dinning. If you’re in the Wellington area I highly recommend a visit. Our server was fantastic as well.
My friend and I stopped there after her dentist appointment and were the first ones there. We both were really impressed with the decor and the owners were very helpful in getting us in those huge bar seats, and pushing us up to the bar. Great drinks and appetizers . We’ll definitely be back, probably after her next dentist appointment. I would highly recommend.
Food is very good. Service is great. Went for Father's Day and the burger was good, but not spectacular. Everything else we ordered was great. Looking forward to trying some of the other dishes on the menu.
Trophy Room is hands down my new favorite restaurant in Wellington. The decor is beautiful. Best happy hour!! We have tried every item on the happy hour food menu and not been disappointed by anything. The Brussels sprouts side are soooo good, too. Try the onion dip, as well. You must try this place.
We had a mixed review for our first visit. The waiter was very knowable about the food although his service was very slow. Some items we ordered were never brought to our table. The steaks, aged Kansas city strips were among the BEST steaks I've ever eaten. Cooked perfect and seasoned correctly. The other dishes, short ribs and gnocchi were excellent as well. When the bill finally arrived (2 1/2 hours) it was wrong and we were charged an extra $90. All was corrected. This place can be a big winner but needs some work on service. Too many inexperienced people working there. We will give them a year, hopefully they will learn the importance of good service.
