Aroma Indian Restaurant West Palm Beach

I was a little skeptical when I was taken to Aroma by a friend. Usually Indian Cuisine restaurants are lacking in atmosphere even if the food is good. Aroma had both. The decor in the restaurant was very upscale, the food excellent, and the owner and staff very hospitable. I plan to go back.

Great food. Free parking. Great cocktails. Not too spicy. Friendly staff.

Go for dinner with an extensive menu that suits all patrons. This is truly a find in authentic preparation of Indian cuisine and far superior to other other local options. I dine here often and invite friends who have eaten in India who are "blown away" by the freshly ground spices in the food options and full bar.

Besides the comprehensive menu, the upscale ambiance with linen table cloths, heated dinner plates arrive just before the entrees and alert table service make this dining experience one of our best in the county. Many of you may not know this cuisine, but the waiters or chef will patiently educate you and your palate.

It wasn't our original intent to stop here for dinner but serendipity happens! Often Indian restaurants tend to be overwhelming in decor but I like it. The staff were very friendly, helpful and happy to engage in conversation. The drinks were strong and the food absolutely fabulous, although I actually prefer a London style Butter Chicken. They've been at this location for years and I can't believe it took us so long to find it. We're adding it to our list of regulars and, at their recommendation, going to try the lunch buffet. If you are unfamiliar with Indian food, be advised that there is usually an element of heat-spice to most dishes, most ranging from mildly-moderate to OMG! Don't leave without dessert!!
