Nice atmosphere, service could have been better. Food average, i did get through the meal with the help of a really delicious Moscato! I guess it wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't see an employee not wash his hands before returning to the kitchen. He should be fired!!!
In a part of our City that has seen many restaurants come and go all to quickly(some lasting only 6 months) it's nice to know of a few that will always be there. Brio's is an excellent example of that. It boasts a very friendly staff and we learned from our last trip that they take training seriously. The manager on duty, for no other reason than to be kind, came over before our meal arrived just to chat with us. He is here from Washington DC area doing some training. That food is a decidedly Italian fare but all with items that you can pronounce without needing a basic lesson in the language. The food isn't very expensive. We visited for lunch during off-season as all Floridians know how busy any place can be during season. I recommend it as a semi-casual, perfectly priced restaurant, with great service. In fact the reason I had lunch there that day was to celebrate my Father's birthday.
Great Happy Hour menu with great prices to match. Bar always gives decent service and the food usually is fast coming out. Great to come on a quick lunch break or after work
The chicken Cesear salad taste scrumptious. It’s actually a really big salad. I couldn’t eat it all. I cut the chicken in smaller pieces and added a little more dressing. The salad cost around $15.00 but it’s worth it. I also tried the salad with roasted pecans with chicken, strawberries, and grapes which cost $14.00. The salad was very delicious. Everything tasted so fresh and and clean. All salads come with bread. My son ordered pizza. It was huge and cheesy and cut in big slices. The pizza and a drink cost around $7.00. Over all, the food was good, not rushed. The customer service was great also. I like the fact their staff is diverse. The restaurant is in a good location, the food is tasty and fresh. They have some of the best salads and I strongly recommend Brio in City Place as a great place to have brunch, lunch and dinner.
I would definitely recommend Brio. Food was excellent and service was the best. Service was quick and friendly. Never saw my glass drop beyond half way. We will definitely be back again.
