Sailfish Marina Restaurant

Sailfish Marina restaurant is a nice spot. As the name suggests, it is located on a marina and has great views with lots of open windows. There is plenty of outdoor seating as well. Outside of the restaurant, the water is clear and you can see lots of fish swimming around the marina. There is also a gift shop and valet parking. The bathrooms have a locally made salt-scrub exfoliating soap which will make your hands feel so soft!

Unfortunately, my review of the restaurant’s location exceeds the restaurant itself. While the food was good, nothing was outstanding. The menu was pretty standard, and I did not notice anything unique. I was surprised to see so many sandwiches and burgers for a fish restaurant located on the water. Furthermore, the majority of their fish options were prepared in a fried way. I ordered a mojito and it was extremely sweet, probably made with Malibu and syrup :/

Lastly, the service was a real bummer. I understand there is an extreme labor shortage due to COVID, but our waiter lacked the most elementary level of interest, knowledge, and enthusiasm in serving our table. It was particularly disappointing because we were celebrating a birthday, and he couldn’t be bothered to do the bare minimum. I don’t remember this man’s name, but he was bald and didn’t smile once.
