Smitty's Smokehouse & Grill

Evelyn is an amazing server. She was prompt and polite and so kind and considerate. She was attentive to our table throughout our entire experience. I enjoyed her service so much that I had to know when she would be there so that our next experience could be as good as this last one. Smitty's is great, generous portions at reasonable prices & the cook is on point (big fella with goatee????????) and able to turn out eggs and steaks at the temperature they were ordered (that's something to applaud), I can count on hot food hot and cold food cold. I know that this review is supposed to be for the restaurant but really these 5 stars are hers add his. My mom, my son and I thank you Evelyn ???????? and kitchen staff. Service is the backbone that carries any restaurant and you'll find it here. Way to go folks, we will be back because of you.

The food was excellent. The service was great, the staff was friendly and very attentive. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat

Smitty's Smokehouse and Grill is located on Highway 301 between Zephyrhills and Dade City. This restaurant has a large selection of items to choose from and the prices are reasonable. The ham and cheese omelet was well prepared and very tasty. The waitress was friendly and they did an excellent job of refilling your coffee cup. Wait times were minimal. This restaurant has a homespun feel with a very simple decor. Well worth a visit when in town.

Smitty's food is always excellent and tasty. Serving sizes are generous. It's a 'best kept secret' restaurant that locals know and appreciate.

I am only giving it a 4 instead of a 5 because it has almost no atmosphere. They could do more with the decorating to make it a really cool experience. Strangers to the area probably wouldn't be drawn in by how it looks--- either the sign or the outside. That's a shame, too because it is head and shoulders above the other fast food in the immediate area.

But at least they do keep the main thing, the main thing... good food that is always tasty.
