“This was my first time going to Dade City BBQ and I’ve got to say it was the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time! The portions were so big I had to take some home, can we say hot lunch leftovers!! I like that the most since I feel like I got two meals for the price of one! I highly recommend the mac and cheese and the beans! When I read the reviews before coming out, I can tell you that there is not a $2 fee for dining in, that is just ridiculous. The absolute best part, the ice cream!! I was super impressed by the kids working there, and the selection is great. I was told the selection rotates regularly so that will be a nice treat especially when it starts to get super hot.”

The reason I'm giving them five stars is because of their specials and just the overall atmosphere and the restaurant as a whole. I really like the feeling there and especially like the fact that I happen to come in on a Monday and kids meals were free! Very cool place that had started as a small grocery and turned into a larger grocery store with a restaurant.”

“My son and his fiance were married there this past Saturday. I have to say this place is pretty amazing. The scenery is beautiful, the place was set up nicely, the staff was very helpful. The inside dining area has barn doors on either end, the decor was wonderful, just right for this type of wedding. The outside dance floor and bar is also amazing. It also helps that we couldn't have asked for better weather. A big thank you to the wedding planner Alicia and all involved.”

“Made it there by 5:00 pm. Suprisingly it wasn't crowded yet. The staff was awesome. As soon as we walked through the door we was greeted with such a warm welcome. The young man explained the cafeteria style restaurant and the different choices. The staff fixed our food as we made our selection of an entree and sides. They have dessert too. This was another great dine in experience. Absolutely some of the best food I've tasted eating out! That fried chicken was so succulent, lightly breaded and it wasn't full of grease. You can tell that the greens didn't come from a can. And the okra and tomato was seasoned with perfection. I love the gospel music that was playing in the background and I think the owner is a minister! Just so happen the owner was there the whole time we was there and we had the pleasure of thanking him for such a wonderful soulful establishment. The food was made with love. We will be back ❣️”
