I recently celebrated my son’s 25th birthday at Dulcet with a large group of friends and family. We chose from their menu of appetizers and we were even able to add other favorites to personalize the experience. Prices were very reasonable and the service was top-notch. The owner greeted us personally and made our evening special above and beyond our expectations. Place has an exclusive and fun vibe. The table was beautifully decorated with balloons and ribbons of his favorite colors. We chose Saturday (salsa night) because we wanted to do something different. We were told by several people this was the best party...music was incredible. We danced all night. Nothing like this place in Pinellas!
It was Valentine's night but there were some obvious issues such as terribly understaffed. The servers were trying to wait on tables and act as hostess and bar tender. It was my first time at Dulcets and it turned into a disappointing visit. The food was good but the experience was far less. 10 to 15 minutes before order taken. Long wait for appetizer to arrive and then finally meal showed up but we had not been served our soup or salad. It did come later after we started on our entree. Another long wait for our check. Not sure if I will give another try as we left feeling very underwelmed. I do feel the staff that was there were doing the best they could but we're responsible for far too many tables. And on the positive side the food was good.
Went there on New Years to have dinner and it was a class act. The food and the entertainment was outstanding. To find a jewel of a place in a small town of New Port Richey FL was wonderful. I felt I was in NYC. My date was impressed so much that I received a little extra TLC. I would recommend this establishment to all.
Enjoyed a great Friday evening at Dulcet Restaurant on Friday. Ordered Asian Steak Kabobs. They were a work of art and delicious too. Our server, Daniel was awesome, attentive and considerate. A top notch jazz quartet provided the music. We'll be back soon!
