Excellent new find..FIND... we needed a restaurant of this quality with a diversified European cuisine (Polish/German/Hungarian) in this area as many have disappeared! The Schnitzel was excellent and many other items I viewed looked great! It's close to home for me I'll be trying it often!
Great little hole in the wall eastern European restaurant. I had the sampler. The sausages were good, the stuffed cabbage, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes were out of this world, as were the pierogies. The Bulgarian salad definitely was a refreshing pallet cleanser after all of that heavy food. A great gem of a restaurant for the area.
Excellent food. We had the combo plate with bratwurst, potato pancakes and cheese blitzes. Everything we had was very, very good. They give you lots of food, potato pancakes were huge. There is no wait service, you order at the counter. Definitely authentic!
I'm glad that we finally have a Polish buffet close to us. This place is great.nice atmosphere, clean place, amazing owners. Polish home-made food is warm, fresh and very tasty. prices are also good too.worth a visit.Thank you for cooking delicious food for us.5 stars!!!
If you love German or Polish or Hungarian or Russian or Ukrainian food then this place is the best choice for you.
Our family visited this place this early afternoon. There was a terrible rainstorm outside, so there were no people on the streets, but the place was full of customers. It is a small restaurant with freshly prepared food ready to serve immediately and a few made to order dishes. The place is very clean, and although modest, it is very elegantly finished.
We ordered a real Hungarian Style Potato Pancake with goulash, Polish cabbage rolls with minced meat, blueberry dumplings in a vanilla-orange cream and to our great satisfaction, the dishes were simply delicious.
During the meal, a chef approached us and in a humorous way told us the story that the restaurant is run only by a married couple of professional chefs from Europe and Chicago, he is one of them and no other help in the kitchen is permitted. It was a very pleasant conversation and an exceptionally delicious lunch.
