It was a lovely night to sit outside. You could tell time was taken for quality of our meals. My Cobb salad was so fresh. My son's shrimp and grits was delicious, yes I stole a bite. My other son got the fried chicken and hubby got the fish and chips. Michele was a great server. Give them a try.

We are so happy to get a fun restaurant back here in New Port Richey. Went there for Sunday brunch with party of six. Outside was delightful. We did wait quite a bit for our food, but they are newly opened and it was a Sunday. The servers were friendly and attentive. We each ordered something different and everyone was very happy with their food choices and quality. Looking forward to coming back for Shrimp and Grits.

First time to Hersche's Scratch Kitchen and it was amazing! We sat outside, had great service and extraordinary food! I ordered the Cajun Eggs Benedict which was fantastic! The eggs were poached to perfection, topped with two fresh shrimp that were delightful, the Cajun sauce was excellent, served on light airy biscuits and all served with their special home fries; wow, just wow! I would recommend the Cajun Eggs Benedict to anyone who wants to try something a bit different! Will be back for sure! Sorry, no photo, couldn't wait to dig in!

This place used to be called Johnny Grits but is now Herschel's. Had a friend and his fiance come throw town and we decided to give it a shot and I boy am I glad we did! We got two dishes and split them, the Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict and a Andoule Sausage and Cheese Grit skillet. All I can say is there was not a speck of food left on any of the plates!!! The food was absolutely amazing and best Breakfast/Brunch I have had in the area. Keep up the good work, I'll be stopping in again for sure!
