The Chowder House Restaurant - Zephyrhills

Quaint place in Zephyrhills, the host is a little boy about 10 years old, really polite and cute. He sits u, prices are a bit high cheapest meal is probably about $15.service was a little slow but people were very courteous. Food was good, nothing extraordinary, good portions. All in all it was ok, probably won't go back

Food was great! Service is a little slow. Only two servers for the whole restaurant. The servers where very polite and they did the best they could but the process from sitting to paying took us 2 hours and 30 minutes. If the add an additional server l think the experience would be different.

We really enjoyed our time at The Chowder House. Our server Chanel was very friendly and met our every need. After ordering we were served promptly with a very short wait. The food was delicious! Thanks Chanel for taking care of us! We will definitely be returning to The Chowder House to enjoy another great meal.

The food was excellent but the single server was left to seat, take orders, bus tables, deliver meals, and cash out diners. Way too much for one employee to the detriment of the restaurant as at least 4 couples left after a long long wait to be seated. Kudos to the young man waiting tables he was pleasantly trying his best to do it all. Shame on management for allowing this situation to occur.

Sara was an awesome server. Very friendly & knowledgeable about the menu items & portion sizes. She was extremely attentive. She made our dining very pleasant .

The Lobster Bisque and New England Clam Chowder were very rich, creamy & tasted great. The fried seafood platter with the added whole belly clams was great. The hush puppy was OK to good. The Shrimp Alfredo was rich, creamy and loaded with shrimp. The Shrimp and Scallop Stuffed Haddock contained whole shrimp and scallops and was yummy. The coleslaw was great and the potato salad was OK to good.

Overall a great dining experience and we will surely return.
