What can I say that will do Angie's justice? Had my first meal with my now wife five years ago, been having breakfast every now and then ever since. Its a nice little time capsule too.

I want to try other things when we eat here (often) but I can't get away from the Spartan omelette, it's THAT good. Pleasant staff, menu looks good, really good prices too.

Located in the heart of downtown Clearwater is a diner that is second to none. Angie's has the best servers, all of which are amazing at customer service. Your favorite breakfast will be found here and cooked the way you want it. The owner always stops and asks if the food is good and if he could make the experience any better. (When he asks I jokingly ask for diet water!) The theme to the diner is straight out of Route 66, don't forget your kicks.

Angie opened "Angie's Restaurant" 53 years ago in 1965 and still greets her customers at the door with a friendly hello. I just think that's awesome. The servers are great too. I'd give it 5 stars if the food was a little better. The food is good, just not worthy of 5 stars. Great place. The booths are old and the springs have worn out so just expect a sore bottom. It's just part of the charm.
