Oh Cooters, my love for you is never ending. Best place to eat in Clearwater. Their seafood platter is huge and amazing. The scallops are so fresh. Surprisingly their nachos are the best! You cannot go wrong, from stuffed mahi to mussels.

Had dinner here on a cool Monday evening. It was quite busy at 5:30 but the wait was not very long for the two of us.

Service was very friendly and attentive.

For apps we got the mozzarella sticks and thin cut onion rings. Both were good (hard to screw those up). The molasses bread and butter was real good too.

My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich and was not too fond of it. It was very fatty. I got the grouper tacos and I enjoyed those. I ordered them grilled, the sauce had some heat but not overbearing.

It was a rather crowded atmosphere, very much a beach bar type vibe.

Primarily seafood, sandwiches, beer on tap. Comfortable seating. Cozy enuf seating inside when March temps dipped into the forties. My captain's platter with shrimp scallops and fish cheeks with 3 sides blackened well prepared. Small parking lot in front tho I saw some cars parked along the backside. Not too noisy. Mica took good care of our party of four with great unhurried service.

Kudos to Cooters! Definitely a must try! Their Tequila wings are the BOMB!!! They even have happy hour for cocktails & appetizers! Love this place! Definitely a go to while in Clearwater!

Excellent local place to eat! I had the seafood bucket and I found everything to be very tasty! A little pricey but seafood is always worth it. Also had an exceptional waitress. Very busy but never forgot about us. Two thumbs up!!
