Caretta on the Gulf

This could be a 5 star place. The food is really good and the NY Strip is easily 5 stars. The sauce selections may need some work as the salmon I had tastes better with out, although it went well with the breads. It's a hotel restaurant so don't expect a quite meal, but the service is very good. Maybe my next trip will be a '5'.

Had a fabulous time. The grounds are well manicured. The restaurant is so elegant and upscale. The food was delicious and plated so presentable and with special touches that if I was a food critic, i would had written a stellar review and send my compliments to the chef, sous chef and the entire kitchen staff. Then we went out to the veranda for an after dinner drink, but the beach was so inviting that we kicked off our heels and ran to the beachfront to soothe our feet in the powdery cool sand

Beautiful view and great service. Come for the sunset but enjoy the food too. I came here for dinner with a large party and they easily had room for us and did very well with all of our orders and even split the check in complicated ways for us. I had the prix-fix menu including crab cake (best thing by far - it was basically all crab), green salad (sort of basic), halibut with risotto (amazing), and creme brulee (not the best I've had but my standards are probably too high). The watermelon basil refresher (tequila drink) really only had watermelon flavor at the very end but I'd recommend it. I would definitely come back again!

We visited Caretta on the Gulf for a Sunday brunch. The food and service were awesome. Ashley our server was fantastic. She constantly had the table clean and our drinks full. She was knowledgeable, polite and accommodating. We were celebrating my birthday and were not disappointed. The food selection was awesome, fresh and delicious. We would definitely recommend Caretta for any occasion.

Fine dining, with all the trimmings. Excellent service, The meal was well prepared and the presentation a 5 star.....NOTE: Call for reservation...yelp shows them as full all the time! I was very surprised at the final bill...just around $100 plus tip..without alcohol...
