First Watch - East Bay

Great food! If you're not there during the breakfast rush you may have slightly inattentive lunch service. Still a lot of variety and quality in the food selection though!

The atmosphere and decor make this place shine. The food is delicious and many healthy options. Way better than the average breakfast restaurant!

Great atmosphere and food. Not many vegan options but the ones they have are delicious. I recommend their AM Power Bowl. Also there potatoes, beet toast, almond butter toast, and avacado toast are awesome. Decent organic coffee. Even if there is a wait they have a nice waiting area with self serve coffee. Get more delicious vegan items and I'd make it 5 stars

Delicious variety of foods on the healthier side. Have not been to any place else like it in the area. Lots of flavor, hipstery modern farmhouse restaurant atmosphere which I enjoyed, food comes out quickly and very reasonably priced. Will happily go again

I really like this First Watch location. It's easy to get in and out of (lots of parking) and it's got a ton of seating which means limited wait times. I really loved the kale tonic and I could drink gallons of the stuff. You can taste the kale, but it's not super strong. It's also not overly sweet.

We also had what amounts to a steak and egg scramble and that was really fantastic. They mix up some greens and mushrooms and put them in the center of the plate, and then they cover them with eggs, and cheese, and meat, and goodness. So good, very hearty.

All in all, I love this location and will be back!
