Frenchy's To Go

We ordered delivery from them a couple days ago and was pleasantly surprised at how quick they were! We opted for a Fried Shrimp Basket with coleslaw and fries, and a Crabby Shrimp Sandwich.

The Fried Shrimp Basket was good! The shrimp were still crispy and weren't soggy at all. They had a nice thickness to it without being too much breading. The fries were also still crunchy which is hard to come by when food gets delivered, no matter how far away the restaurant is. The coleslaw was my only downfall with them. It was kind of dry. I prefer a creamier and sweeter coleslaw, but it wasn't terrible; just not to my preference.

The Crabby Shrimp Sandwich wasn't what we thought it would be. Based off of the description, we thought it was their take on a lobster roll having both crab and shrimp together, but it was more like a crab cake without the breading. It was like whipped crab and shrimp rather than chunky and almost a seafood dip consistency. It wasn't bad, just not what we were expecting.

They're definitely worth checking out if you're looking for traditional Frenchy's food without having to go towards the beach.

Yum! A place to get frenchy's food fast. I'm pretty much a Frenchy's purist and go for their grouper sandwich. This one is consistent with the other restaurants in the area -- a light and crispy batter on an onion roll. So delicious. I got the classic sandwich, which comes with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce. I think next time I'll go for the one without the cheese, it was a little too much for me.

Great food, quick service ... Order ahead or order on property. Not quite fast food speed, but definitely worth the small wait time. ???

It was ok..the sandwiches are too expensive. I know it's a grouper sandwich but come on.

The creation of this “to-go” Frenchy’s was an excellent idea! I was a little hesitant to try it since it’s not what I’m typically familiar with when I think of a Frenchy’s restaurant, but the food was excellent! The fish tacos were delicious and fresh. You could tell that no shortcuts were taken when making and packing the food. I hope this level of quality is maintained. I will definitely be returning!
