Harold Seltzer's Steakhouse Clearwater

From the appetizers, which included the best coconut shrimp I ever had, to the salad, which had the best blue cheese dressing I ever had, the dinner was outstanding. The steaks were perfect and the french fries and gravy were outstanding. Great service. Great atmosphere and reasonable price. Highly recommended and we will be back!!

Harold Seltzer's Steak House is amazing! The "Food and Service is OFF the Charts". The only thing that is NOT off the Chart is the bill. The prices are exceptionally REASONABLE. I'm telling you that these people really know how to run a restaurant. And they do it with a salting of pride. Each steak rolls out of their kitchen cooked to perfection. I would rate Harold Seltzer's as the "No.#1 Steak House in Clearwater". Harold Seltzer, welcome to Clearwater. We've been waiting for you. Someday they will be teaching your restaurant model at the Wharton School.

In town for a wedding, we had our rehearsal on Saturday on the beach. As one would imagine, it was difficult to find an establishment able to accommodate a wedding party of 20. With less than 2 hours notice, David Martin, General Manager of this store, fielded a phone call from myself looking to host this party. Without hesitation, he flew into action, arranging a viewing of a private dining room as well as putting together a small, concise menu tailored to our groups needs. When the rehearsal was over, we made the brief 15 minute ride from the Clearwater Beaches and parked in their vast parking lot. The building is GORGEOUS, screaming old world class and elegance. Upon entry, one cannot help but note the light fixtures and door handles which seemed oddly familiar. (Apparently they are old fixtures from the original Vinoy Hotel! Amazing! Another Tampa Bay staple!). We were sat and greeted by Josh who took excellent care of our group and really saved the day in terms of making sure all needs of the bride and groom were met. We enjoyed a fantastic Happy Hour price menu when it came to cocktails and again I cannot day enough about the quality of meat Mr. Harold Seltzer himself sources. Of the many options in Clearwater you have to choose from, trust me, if you skip Harold’s, you might as well go home without a suntan. Thank you again Seltzer family for coming through in a tight spot as well as entertaining our family for two consecutive nights at different locations!

Fantastic experience! Great happy hour, impeccable service, and my steak was cooked EXACTLY how I asked. We came for a wedding rehearsal dinner, we had our own private dining area. Josh was our server and was very attentive! Even with our large group he was able to get us all fed in a timely fashion. I had the 12 oz Ribeye that is on special for $19.99!! Can’t beat that price! The rolls are made fresh in house and are absolutely the best I’ve ever had. This place is a MUST TRY!!

Great new location. Wonderful atmosphere. Large, but spread out enough and set up to still feel intimate. The staff were all polite, helpful and attentive without being pushy or overbearing. The food was excellent. No tough and salty chain-restaurant steak here! My steak was prepared exactly as I ordered and was the best I've had (outside of my grill) in a long time. And while you're there, treat yourself to the Napoleon, a delicious end to your meal.
