Matjoa Korean BBQ Restaurant

This place is a revelation! Wonderful, warm and friendly staff. AUTHENTIC Korean cuisine and a fantastic bar I might add. Being from the UK I tend to find difficulty getting authentic cuisine. This place definitely hits the mark. I fully recommend!

This is a new Korean restaurant, opened just a month ago and do see the business is doing alright. The stone bowl bibimbap is the best in the area. It is more authentic than the one I normally go to. Mandu is also great. There is also a nice outdoor seating area with game stations. The service is excellent and seating is OK. From other reviews, this place took over from another restaurant. Perhaps it is not originally for BBQ, just one table having BBQ, the place is very smokey as the exhaust wasn't great. My clothes soaked with all the BBQ smoke from just one table. Also, the grill is not on/part of the table, which is located at the end of table. First time I see it setup like this, for the booth that for four people, only two will able to use the grill. Could be a quick way to convert to a BBQ restaurant rather to replace the tables.

Living in Feathersound we have seen this restaurant change ownership each you and each owner has brought a new style of food. Today my family tried it and really enjoyed it. We got the all you can eat meats that are cooked table-side. We all had our favorite pieces and flavors but everyone that we had was good. Came with multiple sides that went well with the meat. Will definitely come back.

Food was delicious. Portion sizes were decent and the food quality was superb. Service was terrific. Lovely dine in atmosphere. Good place for a date night.

Having frequented many a Korean BBQ restaurant in my life so far, this HAS to be the best quality in town. Is it the fanciest atmosphere out there?Perhaps not. BUT you can tell they put a lot of love into what they do. FINALLY we have a great dinner spot on this side of town! Their prices reflect the quality of the meat they offer with the food & service. All in all - a great family atmosphere and a delicious variety of dishes to go along with it.
