Food was excellent and the ambiance on the patio was awesome. Local beer selection was good and the specials of the day were fresh and cooked excellently. The steamed u-peel shrimp were great as were the buffalo shrimp. The grouper nuggets on special were also very good. Being my first time to PJ's despite having been coming to the area for years, I will definitely be returning.
I like this place. I live right around the corner, the seafood gumbo has been really on point for me. The bartending staff is friendly and personable. There were huge wait times everywhere on the beach, but they fit us right in every time we've been here. Drinks were good, had a pretty solid experience both times I've been here so far. Has a kind of Key West feel I'll be back.
This is a cool relaxing place. I came a day early for business and walked in for a bite at the bar. I was surprised by the good beer selection both craft and local. Service was quick and efficient at bar. Portions are small, I’m an Aussie who doesn’t eat big meals but the lobster roll was mini!! However very tasty so made up for size. Overall a good experience.
I’ve been going to PJ’s for the last 20 years, since I was a kid. Food and beverages are priced well. They recently revamped the outdoor seating area. It has an old Florida vibe and is a must visit if you are on Indian Rocks Beach. The Chicago Style oysters are decadent and a must have every time we visit!
A good experience! I was the oddball who orders steak at the oyster bar. But it was great???? So was the baked potato and steamed broccoli. Service was polite and friendly. Had a great time!
