China Gate

First time we ate there it was very good. Yesterday, not so much. The chicken was tough. They changed their crab rangoons- they were okay but I liked their old ones better. Bit into the spring rolls, and a bunch of greasy water spilled out. Do not think that we will go back there again. Disappointed.

It's good, very busy counter serve New York style Chinese food strip mall in front of Indian Rocks Christian. They add soy sauce to their refried rice, which I don't like. This week both of our combo orders had way too much salt. There are 3 Chinese restaurants in this general area and it's my least favorite, but the only one open Tuesday and it's easy access from Walsingham in a quiet part of the mall next to Wells Fargo.

FRESHEST take out EVER! We have ordered from China Gate on at least 10 occasions and something happened recently where I have become a super fan. I am always a little picky about my Chinese food and where it comes from but this little place hits the spot every time! The rice is cooked perfect, the veggies are always cooked to perfection where there is a nice little crisp in every bite. I especially love the broccoli! We get the beef lo mien, chicken lo mien, general tso's chicken, chicken and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, various rice's, and EVERY TIME its so fresh! The meat is lean, and is not filled with gristle and fat, there is nothing worse than taking a bite of Chinese food and as you are chewing you hit yuck spots in your meat! Best meat, best take out, very good customer service, fast delivery, kind courteous. Give this place a try, you won't regret it.

These folks left a menu on our door last week. Figured we'd give them a try. In a nutshell-5 tars all around. We were told 45 minutes for delivery. The order arrived in approx. 35 minutes. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. The veggie moo shoo was awesome as were the spring rolls. Nice options for vegans. Plenty of food delivered fast and fresh. Will use them again.
