German Deli/Jägerstüble

Food is authentic and always excellent. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Have and will frequent this forever.

My review is concerning the deli I have not yet eaten at the restaurant but I wish to in the near future. This, is not negative it's just a comment on what could improve the deli. I've been coming here for the past couple years once in awhile and I believe service should be felt with a smile especially if your German is not perfect. I was in the store a couple days ago with an order when it was crowded and I placed my order. The older lady that runs the counter could be a little bit more friendly and that's so angrily when it's busy there were other people helping her. I don't appreciate the comment German and I understand German pretty well about how much they hate this state of Florida and this country. I don't think it's good for the customers to hear this and they should keep their comments to their selves it's not good for business. If I see this in the near future again on my next visit I will discontinue coming to the store.

This place is awesome, one of the hidden gems in Tampa St Pete Clearwater area. The best bread you can find. Get some bread and Leberkase from the deli and make a sandwich, unbelievable, you won't find that at Publix.

Giving only 3 stars because of the extremely slow service. The food is good but allow at least 1-1/2hr for lunch or dinner. It took 40 minutes for our soup to be brought out. Only one waitress working too. Their drink prices are high, i.e. soda is $3.50 and no refills. No straws so bring your own. Also... when you're seated, you're given a menu which is a drink menu and everyone has the same reaction or comment.... "this is a drink menu, we want a food menu." Then it takes another 5-10 minutes before the waitress comes back to your table. Very, very slow process at this restaurant. Like I said earlier, if you're in a hurry to eat, go elsewhere!!
