My cousin (who was visiting from the Midwest) and I went here and enjoyed our meals. I had a grouper sandwich and the portion was huge. It was delicious and tasted fresh. The views were great as well. Good drinks to cool off with on hot days. I've been meaning to come back for some time now but haven't had the time!
The restaurant has a fantastic ambiance that is fresh on the coast. The food is great which daily fresh catch right off their own boat. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous, making the dinner experience even better. The icing on the cake is it's in a fabulous area with a ton of other options for great food or dessert. Enjoy!
Absolutely recommend! Great food, great service, great atmosphere!
Robbie, our server, was wonderful and our dinners were delicious (seafood pasta, fire shrimp and scallops and pistachio grouper, followed by a monstrous peanut butter cup cake.. to DIE FOR)!
The restaurant is accessible, but the bathroom is a bit tight.
Scully's remains our go to place when we have out of State company. The beautiful water setting and the tourist surroundings seems to please all our visitors. The seafood is the name of the game with my favorite grouper. Sandwiches and entrees are both available and are consistent each visit. Wait to sit on the balconies if it is a nice day - it is worth the wait. We even got lucky viewing a pod of 5 dolphins from our table in Johns Pass.
The view you get when dining on the boardwalk at Sculley’s is breathtaking. We dined there on a Saturday evening and asked to be sat outside because weather was a crisp 68 degrees-- it felt amazing. The flavors and freshness of the seafood is great, but the food is a bit on the higher end.
We ordered Calamari as an appetizer. Though it was light and crispy, we weren’t blown away. My boyfriend ordered the “Crab Stuffed Flounder” it was very rich and the lobster cream sauce that came along with it was phenomenal. I ordered the “Seared Scallops and Sugar Cane Shrimp Skewers” (phew, what a long name!) I was nice and decadent, the rice that came with it gave it a complimenting touch. We also ordered a “Big Fish Sandwich” to split -- though it was indeed ‘big” i was rather disappointing.
Pros: The view, atmosphere, flavors/freshness/versatility of seafood dishes.
Con: The price was on the higher end. Not that that is an issue (though I can see why the ratings are lower simply on cost alone) but for how much food you get, I think you should get more portions or at least live music.
