Mad Pub

The Mad pub is located right on the walking strip in John's Pass in Madeira Beach. I Visited it on a Wednesday Night and it clearly catered to a local crowd.

The bar is cool with the walls lined with aluminum signs (also for sale) and a very large draft selection. The prices were a tad high but to be expected on the strip.

Our server was friendly but not very engaging and seemed to rather stand alone then to chat up her customers.

Overall we didnt come on a great night to truly feel the bars full atmosphere but you can clearly feel that this place has great bones for it. Karaoke Tuesdays would probably be a blast.

Nice little bar with lots of beers on tap and a full bar. It was a little too smokey for my liking, but it was not overwhelming by any means. For serious beer drinks you might not like that the wrong glass style is often used for the wrong beer type, but they were the right temp and the staff let you try any you wanted before ordering.

Great local joint! The bartender was attentive and took the time to give me a couple of samples. The cigar shop next door is very nice. They have a great selection of the usuall suspects, but their on-site hand-rolled cigars are delicious!
A nice pint, a nice cigar, and a sidewalk of a never ending cavalcade of people to watch...
