The Great Catch Restaurant

Our first time here and we were so impressed! There is outside dining on the patio and the table are socially distanced. Our server Brittany was wonderful! Professional and personable, she was very knowledgeable about the extensive menu. My salmon was grilled to perfection and served over a very fresh salad. My husband enjoyed his scallops & shrimp linguini. Serving size is generous and we both took food home. Highly recommend--ask for Brittany!

Our entrees were very good but sadly that’s where it ended. Server was very nice but sadly that’s where it ended. We were there early at 6:45. No wait for table and they were clearly not busy. We had to flag down staff for all the little things, salt, pepper, water and then cocktail sauce for a fried shrimp platter. Took too long to place our order again we are trying to find our own server.
We had cocktails and again had to find waitress to order a second drink. As I said the entree was delicious but the sides were cold.. I mean if you can prepare a hot and tasty entree can’t you go the whole way and serve a hot baked potato? Overall for what we spent I expected more.

Everything was great, the food was hot, and the prices are fair, but it truly was the service that made the experience worth it. Our server Ryan went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could have possibly needed. He was super friendly and brought everything perfectly paced on time. It really was a wonderful evening out. I look forward to coming back to try some more of the menu and to see our new favorite server Ryan! 😊

Prices and variety of food is great. Lobster bisque was excellent. Clam chowder needs to be more traditional in its flavor because it add a weird spice taste. Hush puppies were awesome and so were the Buffalo shrimp. Po boy needs remoulade sauce. Seafood shrimp and scallop pasta dish was bland. It could use fresh garlic, salt., pepper and grated cheese. Coleslaw was good. The vegetables as a side are canned so they need to be fresh.

The best seafood restaurant in Tampa Bay. I went with a group of friends and we had a great experience in this restaurant. Starting from welcoming us in the front, guiding us to our reserved table, the waiter was amazing, she has done awesome job by explaining the Menu for us and the type of seafood available. The managers were so nice, they showed up and made sure we were happy from the service. The place was super clean, and that includes the toilets. The location is great on Tampa Rd and the parking is free and easy. Our overall experience was excellent, and I would give great catch 7 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️If it’s available.
