Molly Goodhead's Raw Bar & Restaurant

Best fried fish around! Generous portions and good atmosphere. We came here for calamari but their menu had such great options we ended up ordering a bowl of Gumbo which was delicious, messy and in a cup but delicious! Then we had the Grouper Bites and it came with a side of fries and they were so good and none greasy. Definitely a go to place for seafood. Also they have desserts from JJ Gandy.

Our first visit to Molly G's. Before going, I read a lot of reviews and I must say that the reviewer who said this place was expensive compared to where he usually ate must camp out at Long John Silver's. My wife started with a cup of clam chowder while I had the "HE" crab. We both preferred the crab, and next visit, we'll order a bowl and share. Not that hers was bad, the crab was just that good. We shared an appetizer of Molly's calamari which is a little spicy. Next time, we'll have the plain calamari with the dipping sauce. We are more traditional that way. Wife had scallop platter which was FANTASTIC, and I had the highly recommended grouper sandwich - equally good. We saw key lime pie and chocolate decadence parade by to other tables which we coveted, but we were just too full for dessert. Service was friendly and efficient. We'll definitely return.

Very pleasant restaurant and bar. The absolutely best grouper sandwich I've had in a long time, and my wife's buffalo chicken sandwich was awesome as well. Can't wait to go back, and although I'd like to try some of the other dishes, I think I'll probably just get one of those two sandwiches - they were really yummy! We ate at the bar, and the bartenders were fantastic as well!

Hadn't been to Molly's in over 20 years. Used to go for the Blackened Gatortail, Grouper Sandwich and a cold brew. My wife brought a friend and neither had been to Molly's before.

Our experience was very enjoyable. My wife and her friend both had the Stuffed Shrimp. Both enjoyed their dinners very much. I had the Stuffed Flounder and it was excellent. We also enjoyed their "He" Crab Soup and their Stuffed Mushrooms. Everything was perfectly cooked, the portions were nice and I think their price point hits just at the lower end of moderate.

I would definitely recommend Molly Goodhead's. Good atmosphere, good food and good times.
