Came here tonight and bought a Texas toast steak burger and large fry.

Let's be real: The only reason you should be going to Checker's for is the fries. They are unique and one of the best seasoned fries around. These did not disappoint, as they were hot crispy and fresh, straight from the fryer.

The steak burger however, really wasn't that good. The two pieces of Texas toast was soggy from grease, butter and mayo. The Patty itself was dry resulting in this weird combination of a grease soaked yet dried out texture. The onion straws were alright, and probably the best thing about the otherwise bland greasy mess.

Service was fast and friendly though, and the fries were awesome.

Staff wasn't extremely friendly but I understand it's checkers not chicfila... service time was very decent soda sucks gets flat quick and the soda mix doesn't have enough syrup. Pretty clean and organized
