Lotus Vegan Restaurant

This is an expectation-shattering restaurant for anyone who is on the fence about going vegan or vegetarian. I've been asked "What do you eat?" so many times since changing to a meat and dairy-free diet, and I wish all of those people could just experience a meal here. My wife and I had the pleasure of doing just that for the first time yesterday and were surprised at the large menu, the tastiness of the food, and the speed at which we were served. I'm not a food critic, so I won't go into detail about the cuisine, but Lotus has a lot to offer, from Asian dishes to American favorites, as well as a bakery. I sincerely can't wait to come back.

We started with #6 Spring Rolls which were delicious. Our entrees were # 59 Kungpao protein and # 65 Sweet sour divine, which were both divine! Well worth the drive from Tampa to Pinellas Park!

Very good food and friendly service. We go every time I'm in town. Big menu. Everything we tried so far has been good. This is our Go To place for Asian food. Prices are moderate but reasonable for the portion sizes.

Excellent! The food and menu simply amazing! I'm not vegan nor vegetarian, so I was a little concerned when friends suggested we have dinner here. What a big surprise, I loved my meal!! I tried the burger, which isn't a burger, and it was delicious. Not sure what the patty consisted of, but it tasted like meat, even a little like meatloaf. You could see the veggies in the patty, otherwise it looked and tasted like a hamburger. The service was excellent, and the dining area immaculate! Definitely will return soon.

Lotus Vegan Restaurant is the best vegan restaurant, hands down. The food is amazing and the menu is extensive. Their vegan buffet on the third Saturday of each month is a great social event. Met many friends there over the years. The owners are pleasant and welcoming.

My only issue is that the servers aren’t as welcoming and nice as they should be. When a customer walks into a restaurant, staff should greet them all the time and be friendly, they should be pleasant throughout the visit, and they should say thank you for coming at the end. This is welcoming and leaves customers with a great feeling to come back. Customer service is very important for a restaurant. The owners and some servers are great but overall all, customer service needs improvement because it’s not consistent. I’ve heard people comment that they won’t return because of this issue.

With that said... the food is amazing and I highly recommend this place. The staff in the kitchen works very hard to make all the delicious food. Always great to have a restaurant that doesn’t serve animal corpses!
