Nickel City Sushi Restaurant & Sport Bar

Nickel City sushi and sports bar was quite the surprise. My boyfriend and I decided to give it a shot last Friday and left highly impressed. The service is great and everyone is so personable. Ask for Kenn to take care of you. He’s the sweetest. Their menu is a nice mix of different Asian flavors and typical American bar food. While they may not seem to go together, it’s nice to have such a wide array of options that all come out delicious! From pho to Thai to stir fry, sushi, and wings, this place has it all. Their sushi chef makes sure everything is up to par and as fresh as possible and will tell you if it’s not their best quality so you have a chance to order something else. There’s also a very roomy sports bar in the back with a totally different vibe. Love this unique find. We’ll definitely be coming back. It’s already our second time this week!

This is one of our favorite places to grab dinner and drinks with our friends and family. The restaurant/sushi side is kid friendly and the owners are very nice. This restaurant offers a variety of food. From Vietnamese, Thai, Sushi, and American food; there is something for everyone. It’s almost like a one stop shop. The pho is excellent. The broth tastes like it’s been simmering overnight. The kids burgers are huge and homemade tasting. The drinks are quite reasonable and the sushi is fantastic. We love this place so much that we became regulars.

This establishment is great! Been here multiple times and food is always fantastic and service is never subpar. The two lovely ladies did a wonderful job on Christmas and explained that it was just family working so employees could spend time with their family. They were both very attentive and made great drinks for bartenders in training; better than some seasoned bartenders at other bars to say the least. Awesome that this restaurant/bar is family owned because they were expecting to stay open only til 10 but the two ladies saw there were more people coming in and were more than happy to stay open past midnight. Overall, never had a bad experience at this establishment and hope more people come and experience it!

Great variety of food on the menu! I walked in and placed an order togo. All the employees were very attentive. As I’m waiting for my order, I’m watching the employees and they are very nice to the customers and even the cook walked out to the dining area and asked if the food was okay. I thought that was an awesome thing to do. Very impressed. The connected bar is weird but at least it’s separated. Definitely recommend this place for sushi, Vietnamese or American food!

An odd yet interesting stop for sushi. You have the sushi bar in the front and a sports bar in the back which makes this a unique stop. The menu has an array of various Asian culture dishes which are affordable and of high quality. The sushi rolls are amazing and nothing short of top notch quality, care and imagination. Service is friendly and very attentive to your needs as the whole dining experience is supposed to flow. The place is very clean and so are restrooms.
