Carmelita's Mexican Restaurant

Busy Tuesday evening (snowbirds) and good service and food. Chicken fajitas were good---lots of onions and peppers! Always start your meal with a comimentary basket of tortilla chips (not small as I read somewhere here, and they have refilled our basket a few times in the past) and salsa! Recommended!

The food is good... unfortunately, the portions are not always consistent. Also, one waitress woman is not exactly as pleasant as what you'd expect from a food service provider. With better wait staff, this place would probably do much better.

The food is great! The top shelf Margaritas are phenomenal and worth a trip! My waitress, "Lily" is superb in both attentiveness and comfort! An authentic experience awaits every experience! Ask for their homemade tortillas!

I love Mexican food and Carmelita's hits the spot at a very reasonable price!

We visit this locally owned eatery about twice a month, usually on a weekend day for lunch, for margaritas, chips & salsa (bottomless) and their daily special.

The restaurant is clean and low key. The staff is polite and the service is fast... almost too fast, as I need time to eat some chips! I can put food away like a champ... but the portion sizes still usually provide for two servings.

The salsa is good enough, we get 32-oz carry-out each time go. Enjoy!
