“I've been going here since 3rd grade with my grandma. The food is always delicious and fresh. As much as I like the subs she would always pick up the chef salads for us a couple of times a month. I love the house dressing and the fact that it's always been cut into little cubes. These salads are exactly as I remember them from my childhood. I missed this place more than anything for the years I spent outside of Florida. Glad to be back and will again continue to go to this wonderful shop indefinitely!”

“I honestly wish I could give this a better review. The atmosphere is pretty good, the service was pretty good, but the food was pretty sad, and insulting for the price. I had pabellon, my date got empanadas. There was nobody else in the store when we got there, and nobody came by the time we left. Not a great sign to begin with. My pabellon was okay at best, but the fried plantains were overly saturated in a low quality oil, the rice was just barely cooked, and the avocado slice was on the overripened side. The black beans were fantastic, but the stewed meat was just okay, nothing remotely stood out about it. My dates empanadas were a disaster. They came in an assorted three flavors, all of which were cold throughout the insides, while the outsides were blazing hot. It was an experience that is pretty unique to microwaved frozen foods. When we asked if lady at the counter could have the chef heat it up for us, she popped them into a microwave. You can buy better empanadas at the Winn Dixie next door, and cook them yourself. I can't stress that enough, honestly. They did have a neat little bakery, which is why I gave it a third star, but it definitely does not make up for the sad empanadas and mediocre pabellon.”

“Always the place to go for Pho or broken rice (#54 on menu). Spring rolls are amazing too! Nowadays it’s hard to find places with such amazing food in huge portions with such affordable price. Also, very friendly staff. I left my personal belongings there twice and they secured them twice for me. One thing special about the service here is that they don’t take away your plates and bowls while you are still eating — I personally find that annoying in other restaurants cuz it’s like they can’t wait you to leave.”

“First time experience at Loon Fong. I ordered the special house soup and my friend ordered the chicken with rice soup. We also ordered the spring rolls. All the food was very good! The spring rolls were fresh and had that familiar flavor of a good fresh spring roll with fresh mint, shrimp, pork and fresh rice wrappers. The interior of the restaurant is semi modern with touches of eastern decor. All tables and chairs, no booths. The service was attentive and friendly. We will go back.”
