Good, made from scratch comfort food. The charcoal smoked wing appetizer is delicious. And they give you whole wings! I had the charcoal smoked pork dinner with green beans and mashed potatoes. My wife had the fried catfish with yellow rice and collard greens. And my daughter had the fried chicken with asparagus and mashed potatoes & gravy. Someone else posted that the potatoes tasted like they were from a box. That's nonsense! Ours were creamy with just enough lumps, just like my mom used to make. They have plenty of wine and craft beers on tap. And save some room for the strawberry shortcake and banana pudding for dessert. Both were fantastic!

Great everything!!! Great food, service, ambience. Bit of a wait but food was fresh and hot. Special nod to Kaitlyn our server, she kept track of everyone and everything. I will be back...wish they served chicken livers...

We ended up having to change our reservations back-and-forth between inside and outside a couple times and everyone was very accommodating. The food was fantastic and everybody left completely satisfied. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

Very small indoor dining space - call for reservation, plenty of outside seating though on a cold day they should have some gas heaters. They have one seating area w/a gas fire top which is cozy. Overall great comfort food, especially the non greasy fried chicken - a must try, as well as the sangria. Service, energy, and food consistently very good.

First time at Southern Fresh, will not be the last. Very fresh and flavorful food. You do have a short wait for the fried chicken, but so worth it. Service friendly. Make sure to try the Strawberry Shortcake!
