The Nona Slice House

I can't comment on the service, because I've only ordered take-out, about 5 times, so I'll be specific about the pizzas. The crust is excellent, but the ratio of toppings to crust needs to be higher to balance right. If the total volume of toppings were increased by say, 50%, you would truly have outstanding pizzas. We have asked for extra on the toppings, but this makes it pricey, and shouldn't be necessary. Overall, a "B".

Best pizza we have ever had! The service was exceptional from the waitress and the pizza makers. Even had a pizza crust throwing demonstration. Highly recommend.

Great pizza, salads and great staff!! Saw the owner on channel 13 fox. It is a fun place with great food!! Owner will show you an unusual way to toss a pie if you ask. Love trying new places and this was a great find. Will be back with family and friends.

Best Garlic Knots, wings, and pizza I have ever had in my life. Service was great place was clean. Staff was courteous. Recommend this place to anyone who is visiting the Safety Harbor area. I was here with family and the four of us enjoyed it.

I read other reviews that raved about Nona. Can't say I agree. Compared to other places that sell by the slice, the slices were smallish. When I fold a slice of pizza in half to eat it, I want to see oil dripping out of it...not the case here. I will say that the sauce was delicious and fresh-tasting. There is no indoor seating, only a large, fan-cooled outside dining area. It was a little warm tonight and my beer got warm in a hurry. Note that I am sensitive to heat. I would have given four stars if the slices were larger or I had to wipe grease off of my elbow.
