Shells Seafood Restaurant - St Pete Beach

Out of everywhere that we ate oh, this was our least favorite. The food was good, the service was the best out of everything at this restaurant. We did not have to wait to be seated. The prices were a bit higher than other places we ate. But the taste of the food was not as good as some of the other places we ate. The place was very clean and everyone was really really nice, but I would choose not to eat there again.

Their fish is delicious!!! I asked for my Pollack to be fried southern style (cornmeal) and they delivered on the taste. It was fantastic. I'll definitely be back!

We popped in for a couple of appetizers. While it was good... (We tried the calamari and shrimp and crab dip and fried mushrooms)... The seafood dishes weren't the "great" I had hoped for. The Mushrooms however, were outstanding. Sevice was good and very friendly (we sat at the bar) so over all a good experience, just not the "I got to go back" experience I'd hoped it would be.

I had the best service from Michelle at this Shells. She anticipated our needs and went above and beyond to be sure my daughter's allergies we're not triggered by any foods. The chef was amazing and worked with us to be sure our daughter was safe. They did it all with a happy, friendly attitude. I truly believe the cared about us.

Came here with my family tonight. Very clean and casual dining with outdoor seating as well. Reasonable prices, Generous portions, and the Friendly staff provided excellent service. Our waitress Mary was awesome. There were so many options on the menu so we were so indecisive. Mary was patient with us, attentive and great with My children. Would definitely recommend.
