Went for Early Bird Special for birthday. 1st time ever going to a Japanese Hibachi grill and not have the restaurant staffed by ethnic Japanese chefs. We had 2 white American men:. 1 as the waiter and 1 as the chef. The service & food was good. Kids were happy. At 4:15pm when we arrived, we were the only people in the restaurant on a Friday. They actually had to turn the lights on in the Hibachi room for us. By the time we left it was fairly busy. Parking lot and exterior look a little shady. Interior wasn't much better. Not a fancy or upscale place. Yet prices are similar to local competitors.

(January 11, 2019, 11:37 pm)This is one of my fav stops when in St Pete. The sushi here is excellent and is always fresh, rice is cooked perfectly and the staff is always very friendly. The owner is very nice. Stop in if you like sushi. Even if you don’t like sushi, they have lots of other great food like Bento Boxes, etc. Highly recommended!
