Acropolis Greek Taverna

I went to Acropolis 2 years in a row when traveling through St. Pete’s. The staff is super friendly, and they are accommodating to food allergies. I love their warm stuffed grape leaves and salmon entree.

Really excellent lunch fare. Beef or chicken kebab cooked to order with pita, hummus and a very nice Greek Salad complete with nice slab of feta and olives. Will be going back for dinner next!

Great ambiance and staff. Nice that they have al fresco dining or inside tables and cozy booths. Highly recommend!

Recommended this to a friend based on having dinner here a long time ago. Great people watching outside. Stars off because of the waiter service. Unenthusiastic and incorrect order for my friend so we had to wait over ten minutes after my food was delivered. Luckily we were not in a hurry. Good portion with my kebab dinner and it tasted fine. Didn't ask my friend about her order because she was a tad upset about the whole fisco.

Going this by Googling Greek restaurant near us and this sounded really good. Finding parking on street parking a plus. Nice atmosphere. Decent menu. Meat on gyro very salty but generous portion. Fries arrived barely warm along with my grilled veggies side dish and Mediterranean rice dish. Unfortunately, The rice had an odd flavor that wasn't palate pleasing but never having had it before didn't complain... Our 2 4 1 margaritas were delicious and the salad and dressing was really good. We'd go back for just those two items.
