Westshore

Just moved from Philadelphia to Saint Petersburg and was very nervous that I wouldn't be able to find good pizza. I ordered delivery from Westshore. Just a plain pie, as that is the true test in my mind. If you can make a good plain pie then everything else should good too, as it's all about the crust and sauce. The pie was quite delicious, great chewy crust, a very tasty sauce. Overall very good. In addition the staff was very pleasant and I would highly recommend. They are a little pricey, but I'd say they are worth it.

Went there once and got a couple slices, 1 was ok but the other wasn't good at all. I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, so I went again about a week later and got another 2 slices, both mediocre at best. I think it might be the crust I don't like.

Update: a few weeks ago, I was in the mood for a slice and decided to give it another shot. This time, I got a couple pretty good slices, so i have updated their rating. If it wasnt for the inconsistency the first couple times, i would say it's a 4 star pizza place.

Their lunch special of a (big) slice of pizza, a salad, and a drink for $7 was a good deal. The pizza was fresh and good. Friendly staff too!

The Westshore on Roosevelt Boulevard has the friendliest people... though the reason I go there is for the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Oh. My. Yummy. Goodness. (They make it the best there, as they don't use breaded chicken like other locations.)
