Good food, not great. I had the steak and ale pie which was good but was mostly gravy and lacking in steak and mushrooms. Creme Brulee was delicious! The bread pudding was tasty but very dry.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. An upscale twist on authentic English Pub food. Everything is made from scratch right down to the fresh rolls which you can order sliced and filled with a delicious garlic sage compound butter. If you like French Onion soup (or home made soups in general) give it a try; best in town! Also, if they have the seafood bisque it’s a must have.
Daily specials and an attention to detail and quality make Jack’s a go-to local spot for hardy food and a good beer! Highly recommend!

We’ve been wanting check this place for a while now and weren’t disappointed. French onion was some of the best I’ve ever had, full of flavor with a big piece of toast on top. Fish and chips were also good. Small beer and wine list and no sweet tea or orange juice for mimosas, which was disappointing for Sunday lunch. We will be back to try the Shepard’s Pie and some Scotch Eggs.

I was desperately craving a good old fashioned English meat pie, so I decided to give this place a try. I really enjoyed it. My waiter was friendly and the food was great. I had the steak and ale pie. It normally comes with vegetables, but I upgraded to fries for $1.50 more. The pie pastry was flaky and buttery, everything I had been craving. There was lots of beef inside the pie and the gravy was delicious. The pub was clean and tidy. A little pricey, but overall, I recommend this place and would definitely eat there again.
