Lucky Dill

I love eating here every time I come south to St. Petersburg, which is 3-4 times a year. The Lucky Dill Deli might not be that special to some, but it is special to me. I love the tuna salad or the chicken salad on marble bread. I love sitting out front at a table on a nice day. Thanks to the Lucky Dill Deli for making my day special when I come to town.

Affordable good food is what you'll get at Lucky Dill. It's a New York style deli that can get insanely busy and crowded during peak hours. But during the off hours it's really chill and nice. They have outside tables that are nice to sit at. the staff was friendly and attentive. They were great about keeping the place clean.

The sandwiches are impressive looking. We ordered the skyscraper which was the pastrami corn beef mix and it was nicely piled high. The meet was a little rubbery but had very low fat content. The pickles were nice and crisp and it’s a good corner location with lots of activity so good people watching. Inside is nice big windows all the way around and you get the same effect. The fruit bowl is fresh. Prices for what you would expect. I thought the bread could’ve been toasted it was soggy on the bottom. Was good not great. Downside of outside seating was that you were right next to a cigar store so if people are outside smoking that can be a detriment.
