Tony Montana sandwich is to DIE FOR! The empanadas are really good and freshly made right there when you order. Don't let the small shop look scare you, this place makes exquisite meals and alot of portions for the price! Would most definitely go back twice in a day.

First time ordering from this eatery. Salad was tasty, fresh and full of flavor. The shredded chicken was savory and cooked just right! looking forward to sampling the rest of the entire menu!

UPDATE: I don’t throw 5 stars around, there is always room for improvement; however, Smiley’s has truly impressed me with their service and food quality. They are my #1 choice when I’m craving a sandwich!

I tried Smiley’s for the first time on a whim. It’s a tiny takeout place tucked in the corner of a small strip of storefronts.

I received a warm welcome and a recommendation to try their signature Cuban sandwich. I ordered the “small” Cuban - spoiler alert, small is more than one human should eat in a single sitting, but I rarely do the right thing when it comes to food restraint especially when it’s good food!

Biting through the hefty layers of tender meat (TONS of meat, more meat than a human should eat in a day, but so so so tasty), fresh veggies and generous amounts of special garlic sauce, my mouth was incredibly happy...really, Smiley’s had me at garlic - lots of garlic. If you don’t love garlic, go home and reconsider your life choices. From the sauce to the beautifully flavored pork, Smiley’s has created a winner with their Cuban.

For $7 and 5 minutes of my time, I was over-full and had a very happy mouth. I’ll absolutely go back and I look forward to trying other things on their menu.
