Best British Pub in the St Pete area. Excellent food and service. Great beer and whisky selection.

If you're an expat or you enjoy British anything much less food this is your place. The service is excellent the bartender's is amazing and the food supersedes anything that you could think of. They truly stick to the roots of the Brits

It's an English pub, not a British one! ...an ongoing conversation with the service staff that is sure to entertain. Apparently, many patrons confuse the two.

We frequent the H&J for lunch because it's convenient and the food is well above average. I've tried many of the dishes but gravitate toward the fish and chips or curry dishes.

While I don't drink, my lunch group speaks highly of the beer selection... which is definitely part of the lure.

The seating area and bar can be dark (often preferred) but they have outdoor shaded seating, weather permitting. It can be crowded, depending on the day, and that may slow the service a bit. That said, it's definitely worth stopping in!

I absolutely adore this place for Saturday morning soccer. Great food (Including an awesome burger+beer deal Saturdays). Justin is always super helpful and attentive even during the bigger games when its packed with Liverpool Red.
