Hofbrauhaus St. Petersburg

I want to love it here so we keep trying. I don't know exactly what it is , but the service is always a little off and the food is decent, but not great. Portion sizes have been variable. Hit or miss for sure. The atmosphere is exactly what you expect...German oompah bands and Oktoberfest feel. That part is great. Don't expect amazing - but it is well worth the experience and you will have a good time!

It wasn't too busy when we visited on a Monday. Service was nice and friendly, food was decent, beer was better than regular beer you get elsewhere, and the place was clean. The furniture and setting reflects the name. There is a band that comes around too and plays live music. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd definitely go back.

Been wanting to try Hofbrauhaus for quite sometime. Finally had the chance and was pleased with the atmosphere. The dinning area is huge and open. I had the Wurstplatte which contains 4 sausages in total with sauerkraut and mashed potato or a different side (ask your server). As it was my first time eating German cuisine I can only say that what I had was pretty good.

Very good well prepared food. Portion were slightly more than what Americans would consider child size. Menu can be seen online. Prices are reasonable for location, atmosphere, type of service, menu assortment, seating. Limited parking, sever very good, no rush to get to next course or leave. Well maintained, very clean, easy access, well lighted overall we like, will go again.

Pretty neat place. The first time I went I sat at the bar and just had a dark beer, which was fantastic. I would have enjoyed my second visit more if my server didn't look like a mad scientist with a nasty attitude and if we weren't sitting upstairs. The food was okay and over priced. I'll go back again, though. Next time I'll sit at the bar and have an amazing pretzel and fantastic beer.
