Stone Soup Cafe

Great little place! Friendly service! Full bar. Wish there were vegan options, but...I know that's asking a lot, lol! My friends have enjoyed their food and the place is always clean!

Went for lunch with a co-worker as I wanted soup and happened to be in their neck of the woods. Nice atmosphere and a very popular place with the locals. It was busy for lunch but we had no problem getting a table. It reminds me of the pubs you find in England/Great Britain. You could bring the whole family for a meal including the kids and the adults can still enjoy a drink from the bar or not. ????

Nice casual restaurant. The BLT with turkey was fabulous. So was the pasta salad. And the service was topnotch, too. You can eat outside if you want. Very nice. I definitely want to go back.

I have been coming here for years. Although the owners and decor has change over the years, the food is always the same..delicious! My favorite is the veggie sandwich (wheat kaiser roll) and the cinnamon muffin. Everything that I have tried is very good. (Not crazy about the potato salad, though) They get busy so sometimes the service isn't as fast, but the servers are nice and the food 5 stars. It's a diamond in the rough.

Edit- Down to 3 stars from 5. They took two off my favorite things of the menu. They do not have the wheat kaiser roll anymore (which made the veggie sandwich) and the cinnamon muffins have change and are not good and they're little mini muffin now. Please bring them both back!! :-/

I absolutely love Stone Soup! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great service and the best sandwiches I have ever had! They also have a great beer selection. We recently moved out of town and make a point to eat here when we are back in St Pete
