Joella's Hot Chicken

Nice looking restaurant and the staff is friendly. They checked on us numerous times while we were eating. Tenders are good, nice size. Love the breading and all the different ways to fix it! Nice variety of sides. Baked beans would be a nice addition. Sodas are great! It is a little pricey for fast food, but does seem like good quality.

The restaurant is nice inside and the folks working there are pleasant and friendly. I've tried the quarter chicken and the tenders and several of the sides. The quarter chicken is very good and very tender. I found the tenders to be a little overdone and chewy. The breading is thin and seasoned well. All of the sides have been good so far. The kale crunch is especially interesting. They have crazy sodas instead of the usual Coke or Pepsi. Give it a try.

I was not impressed on my first visit. I got the 3 piece chicken tenders with two side and a drink. The chicken seemed like it wasn't cooked long enough it appeared to be done but the batter was soggy and greasy. The french were good, but way too much salt. The mac and cheese and the sweet tea were pretty good. I will usually try a restaurant three times before I stop going so hopefully next time I will be impressed.
